Something to be Thankful For

By Blase Mnich, Interactive Brand Writer

It’s the most wonderful time of year again — that season of joy in which it is better to give than to receive. Tradition dictates that we celebrate this holiday in the time-honored fashion — standing side by side with our fellow man… in a long line… In the middle of the night… Outside what’s sure to become an alarmingly crowded store.

So let’s talk Black Friday!

For those who enjoy the thrill of the hunt, Black Friday is a retail safari. But this big-game hunt is NOT for the faint of heart. Holiday shopping can quickly turn into a contact sport, and you’ll only bag the big rewards if you want them bad enough. Those unbelievable Black Friday deals can be totally worth it, but it’s not always easy to walk away with the best stuff.

Now, I love a bargain as much as the next guy — especially if it’s for a wall-size HDTV, a pricy new power tool, or some cool garage gear. But camping out all night just for a slim chance at elbowing my way through a rabid crowd of other sleep-deprived holiday zombies? NO THANKS. Give me a nice, cozy Cyber Monday any day. You can just take a couple of clicks around the old interweb and grab some great deals without even having to rouse yourself from your holiday turkey hangover.

In the spirit of compromise, Gladiator® GarageWorks has you covered whether you’re a Black Friday fire-eater or a Cyber Monday sleepyhead. We’re offering a 35% discount on a full assortment of our premium organization products. With GearBox cabinets, workbenches, tool chests, organization kits and wall components all up for grabs, the pickings are anything but slim. Call it a Black Friday/Cyber Monday miracle!

What do you think about this contemporary commercial holiday? Are you a get-up-and-goer or a stay-home-and-clicker? We’d love to hear about your own experiences, so hit us up with your best Black Friday stories.
